FilmFest Italiana

Library Director, Marian Amodeo's 5th annual FilmFest Italiana was well attended, as usual. Monday night over 60 people enjoyed watching Sophia Loren in Houseboat and eating italian cookies. Deb Gaudet gave an interesting talk on the star of our film festival, Sophia Loren and moderated a lively discussion after the film. The film festival has been co-sponsored by the local Newington Chapter of UNICO for all 5 years.

Come early next week to make sure you have a seat for the movie Black Orchid starring Sophia Loren and Anthony Quinn.

The blog posts only the time of a comment posting. Was it planned that way? As such it is meaningless!

Please post the complete time stamp including time zone for each entry.

The next film in this series will be shown Monday, March 19 at 6:30PM. This series has been quite popular, so we recommend that you try to be here around 6:00 to get a good seat. For details about the film, check the Adult Events page of our website.
